This course is the perfect introduction to PowerPoint for Mac 2016. The course first explores the interface and helps viewers create and format great PowerPoint presentations. Feb 26, 2016 I am using Office 365 on a Mac - Powerpoint 2016. The files I am developing are large because they contain a large number of high resolution photos (.jpg) and I want to keep the original images in the master Powerpoint files then compress to 220ppi or 150ppi for the working presentations. Sorry, I just opened the new 15.21.0 version of PowerPoint 2016 and they still don't have sound alerts. Don't know if they don't realize it. But how are you supposed to create a Presentation without sound effects. What you'll have to do is if you want sound you'll have to use either PowerPoint 2011 or Apple's Keynote. Its's not a Bug it's an oversight. So go to the PowerPoint Suggestion Box website instead. And explain to them You can't have a decent presentation without transition sound effects. Microsoft Suggestion Box Websites: • • • • • Directions: • Click on the Link above that matches the application you want to report on. • Sign in using same password and Username/email address the Community Forums. • Next, locate the link for you particular version (example: PowerPoint 2016 Mac). • Now look for your Bug Report/Complaint/Suggestion, to see if already reported. • If so, vote for it, and add a comment detailing your issues. • If do not see any, create a Bug Report/Complaint/Suggestion. (When you submit your report, it is given one vote). Strikethrough in excel for mac. • Make a Comment detailing why it's needed if it is a suggestion. Or why/how it happens if it's a bug report. Edit comments section in word for mac. • Be calm and courteous, and respectful. If not your suggestion/Bug report will be taken with a grain of salt. _________ Disclaimer: The questions, discussions, opinions, replies & answers I create, are solely mine and mine alone, and do not reflect upon my position as a Community Moderator. Just Checked: if you open a presentation already created in PP2011 the transition sounds you inserted do play and are retained in 2016. ![]() It's fine to have the option to choose from other sounds, but the ones that ship with the program should be available for use in the program. Besides, who would even think to dig into package contents to get at program features that should be provided by the UI? Please mark HELPFUL or ANSWERED as appropriate to keep list as clean as possible ☺ Regards, Bob J. My default assumption with Office 2016 is that if a feature is broken or missing it is intentional. In this case, I presume that the missing list of shortcuts to the sound files is because they got broken along the way and Microsoft either hasn't gotten around to or can't be bothered with fixing them.
